Established in 1965 the Licensing Executives Society is the premier membership organisation for professionals and business people interested in licensing, the transfer of technology and the commercialisation of intellectual property rights.
The Licensing Executives Society Britain & Ireland (LES B&I) is one of 33 member societies of the global umbrella organisation LES International (LESI). The Society provides opportunities for multidisciplinary education, continuous professional development and networking, both locally and globally. Individual members of LES B&I include industry and university executives, scientists, engineers, academics, public officials, accountants, lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and consultants. As well as industrial companies, corporate members include universities and patent, law and trade mark firms.
The Society provides a unique environment in which to meet and to share experiences with licensing professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, from legal advisers to hands-on technologists.
