St. George’s University London (SGUL) together with international partner institutions is proud to announce a collaborative research initiative funded by the EU/EC under its 7th Framework Program (FP7). The research addresses how intellectual property management and creative licensing can be positively leveraged to benefit access and development of health technologies for the developing world. A major aspect addresses how public sector organizations, particularly those in Europe, can have a positive impact on global health.
A substantial aspect involves reaching out to professionals and stakeholders who will inform this research. Interested persons/organisations are therefore requested to get in touch with Harry Thangaraj, the project coordinator at hthangar@sgul.ac.uk.
Project partners include the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation Brazil, Medical Research Council South Africa, International Vaccine Institute based in South Korea and the University of Neuchatel and the research will span a period of 36 months. For more information about the project and partners please visit: www.accesstopharmaceuticals.org . Your help will be much appreciated.
